Isabela Villas Boas has worked in the Language Teaching field in Brazil for 39 years. She holds a PhD in Education with a focus on second language literacy from the University of Brasília and a Master's in TESL from Arizona State University (USA). Isabela is currently the Executive Director of Products and Learning XP at Cultura Inglesa. She has published books and academic articles, as well as presented in national and international conferences, on the topics of second language writing, assessment, and educational leadership. She co-authored the book Getting into ELT Assessment and is the author of Teaching EFL Writing in a Skills-Integrated Context, both published by Cengage.
