Today’s learners are exposed to vast amounts of information. That means that now, more than ever, it is vital that students gain the skills to critically evaluate the world around them. It is with this in mind that we created Impact, a series that encourages teenagers to understand themselves, each other, and the world they live in.
The Inspiring Learners With Impact booklet includes activities you can use with Impact to expand your students’ social-emotional skills, 21st Century skills, and ability to engage with the world. Each activity is mapped against lessons from across the series, but you can adapt them to support any level of Impact and fit your students’ unique learning needs. From problem solving scenarios to research projects, students are inspired to explore who they are and who they want to be.
Impact is a course designed to teach English, but it’s so much more than that. By encouraging self-expression, global citizenship, and active participation in the world around them, Impact helps students become curious and creative members of their community.
